Leaving to Bordano in a few minutes… Cloud coverage forecast for today looks better in area of Gemona Our original plan to fly from Gemona launch failed because of the road works on the way up. Today the weather forecast looks much better for Italy, so we are leaving early and hoping to have some good flying! No livetracking today, but there will be some good photos, we are sure! After two and a half hours drive we are at the Pizzoc launch, getting ready for an ambitious task from Vittorio Veneto to Bordano.
It is raining today all over the Alps, so we use the day for studying local meteorology and forecast websites, watching and analyzing the gopro footage from the day before and tuning almost all harnesses afterwards. Only Edward isn’t flying today, having rest between the two courses he is taking part in.

Back there in the Alps we can already see the signs of overdevelopment, but in over Bordano and to the south of us in Italian foreland … Read More
Today the flying will be governed by a possibility of an early thunderstorm, so we are heading off to Emberger Alm hoping to have an early task. The task is to fly along the valley and then jump over towards Weißensee. The sky is looking safe at the moment and the pilots receive the last hints before taking off:

So we are setting off to its direction now hoping to get an interesting flight down there. We see that our assumption about the conditions was right and paragliders are already in the air. This low launch exposed to SE wind direction is affected by the valley wind and allows … Read More
